The Haskell Foundation is entirely reworking how it sets and funds its technical agenda. To that end, we are looking for keen volunteers to sit on the new Technical Leadership Committee.
The Technical Leadership Committee (TLC) is an evolution of the Technical Working Group (TWG). Notably:
It is of course expected that the members take this seriously and ensure that the money is spent well and that projects are successful. The TLC is accountable to the Foundation Board, and will have a permanent Board observer.
As per the committee bylaws, the Haskell Foundation is currently looking to fill 3 to 5 positions on this committee, for a first three year term. Members of the committee are expected to be able to contribute a few hours a week at most, split between surfacing projects, discussing projects with the committee, communicating with the Haskell community, and managing ongoing projects.
Interested parties can submit a cover letter explaining why they should be chosen, and what is their vision of Haskell Foundation’s technical agenda, to tlc-formation@haskell.foundation. Applications will be accepted over the next two weeks, until and including August 19th, 2026.
